Terms and refunds

Summary: there is a free trial and a paid Pro plan (US$ 4.99 a month or US$ 45 a year) that renews automatically until you cancel it in PayPal. You can ask for a refund within the periods in section 5.

In case of discrepancy between versions, the Spanish version prevails.

1. The service

LineWorkCAD is a web application for 2D drawing, image vectorizing and DXF fixing, operated by Juan Marcos Valdes (Guatemala). By using it you accept these terms. Contact: soporte@lineworkcad.com.

2. Beta version

The application is in beta: it may contain errors and change without notice. It is provided “as is”.

3. Plans

Free trial: 3 downloads (DXF, SVG or PDF) and 3 uploaded images with all Pro features. Usage is counted in your browser and on our server.
Basic plan (free): view, draw, measure and save .lwcad projects.
Pro: export DXF, SVG and PDF, Consensus and Mixed vectorizing, image editor and advanced tools.

4. Prices, payment and renewal

Pro costs US$ 4.99 per month or US$ 45 per year. Payment is processed by PayPal and the subscription renews automatically each period until you cancel. Taxes or currency conversion may apply depending on your country and PayPal account. If we change prices, the change will not affect the period already paid and we will notify you before your next renewal when possible.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Cancel: you can do it at any time from your PayPal account (Automatic payments). You keep Pro until the end of the period already paid and you will not be charged again.
Refund: if you are not satisfied, write to soporte@lineworkcad.com with your subscription ID and we will refund the payment: within 7 days of your first monthly-plan charge, within 14 days of your first annual-plan charge, and within 3 days of a renewal.
After those periods we do not give partial refunds for unused time, unless applicable law requires it.
When a payment is refunded, the corresponding license may be revoked. PayPal may keep its fees.

6. License and devices

The license is personal and can be active on up to 3 devices at once; you can free a device with “Deactivate on this device”. Sharing or reselling it is not allowed. Gift codes have the duration and number of devices stated, and may be revoked in case of abuse. We may revoke licenses obtained improperly.

7. Your files

Your drawings and images are yours. They are processed in your browser and we do not receive them (see the privacy policy). You are responsible for having the rights to what you open or vectorize.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for illegal activities, to try to bypass license or trial limits, or to overload or attack the server.

9. Accuracy and liability

LineWorkCAD is a drawing aid. Always check your files before cutting, machining or manufacturing: we do not guarantee that results are accurate or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, material or production, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid in the last 12 months.

10. Intellectual property

The application, its code, name and design belong to its owner. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it as long as you comply with these terms.

11. Changes and termination

We may modify these terms or the service; we will publish the new version here. You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend anyone who breaches these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Guatemala, without prejudice to the rights that the mandatory law of your country gives you as a consumer.
